Pediatric Emergency Medicine position in New Brunswick, NJ-Close proximity to NYC
Envision Physician Services is hiring a Full-Time Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician at The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Qualified candidates will be BC/BE in Pediatrics with prior Emergency Medicine and/or Urgent Care experience OR have completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Position Profile:
- 25,000 annual Pediatric visits
- 14-bed PEDS ED with 11 private rooms and Pediatric Fast Track area
- Scribe coverage
- A large acute-care area for more serious injuries and illnesses
- 54 bed Level III NICU
- Full complement of Pediatric sub-specialists on site
- 3-4 providers scheduled per day
- ED is staffed 24/7 with double coverage 10 AM - Midnight
- Designated pediatric ED unit secretary 24/7 to make all calls
- Variable shift times 9-12 hours
- Paragon EMR system (EPIC coming in 2025)
- Pediatric and Family Medicine residency on site
- Group consists of PEM, General Pediatricians and Advanced Practice Providers
- W2 status with comprehensive benefits program
