Envision is seeking a PRN Emergency Medicine Physician to join our prestigious practice at HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital in Tamarac, FL. Formerly University Hospital in the Fort Lauderdale area, our 271-bed full-service facility has been serving Florida's Broward County community for more than 50 years. ABPS Welcome!
Position Profile:
- 23 beds, including 6 in fast-track
- 38,400 ER visits per year
- 2.1 pph
- 40 hours doc coverage Mon-Fri; 36 hours doc coverage Sat/Sun
- 24 hour of Advanced Practice Providers coverage
- 28% admission rate
- Extensive sub-specialty coverage
- EMR: Meditech, Pdoc, and dragon dictation
- Independent Contractor
Qualified candidates must be Board Certified/Board Prepared Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM),with ACLS, and PALS OR Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine with at least 5 years of current ER experience,
