$50K bonus for Emergency Medicine Physician opportunity to work 10 shifts per month in eastern Kentucky
We have an exciting opportunity to join our talented & stable ED team as we are looking to add coverage (12 hour shift) in preparation for a NEW ED opening in January 2025 at UK King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY! We recently increased our compensation package AND we are offering a $50,000 bonus to work a minimum of 10 shifts per month! A NEW ED with 75 exam rooms is officially under construction and aiming for an early 2025 opening
Position Profile:
- 65,000 annual ED volume
- 52 beds (all private), with 49 main, 2 Trauma, & 1 Psych
- Additional 10 bed overflow unit
- 12 hour physician shifts
- Daily APP coverage with an experienced APP team
- EPIC EMR with Scribes
- Stroke Center with 24 hour stroke team
- 24 hour Cath Lab
- Physician Qualifications: Must be EM-trained & BC through ABEM/AOBEM
