Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon expanded in 2007 and is licensed for 137 beds. It features a full range of services including comprehensive cancer care; surgical services; a Level III Emergency Department; a well-appointed Family Birth Center; comprehensive diagnostics; and advanced heart and vascular care. The hospital offers a full range of surgical services, advanced diagnostics including CT, MRI and PET, and a spacious Center for Sleep Disorders. Skagit Valley Hospital is home to the area’s only cardiac catheterization labs and offers advanced heart and vascular care. Skagit Valley Hospital leads the way in comprehensive cancer care and is a network member of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, which brings together the talents and research power of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, UW Medicine and Seattle Children’s.
