Antelope Valley Hospital (AVH) is a 393-bed non-profit full-service, acute-care hospital that's been providing care in Antelope Valley for more than 60 years. It is the region's only trauma center and a STEMI receiving center that's home to a pediatric unit, NICU and inpatient behavioral health center. AVH is well-awarded for clinical excellence. In 2018, AVH was awarded the Health and Human Services Platinum Recognition Award for its efforts raising awareness about organ donation. It was also named a Certified Chest Pain Center and a Blue Distinction® Center for Maternity Care.
