The 214-bed licensed Valley Regional Medical Center is a $60 million state-of-the-art acute care hospital. VRMC accommodates patients with the latest technology and care delivered in a pleasing, hotel-like environment. VRMC is a designated Trauma Center and offers many sophisticated services such as Emergency Care, Chest Pain Center, Neonatal Intensive Care, Neurosurgery, Cardiac Surgery, Outpatient Surgery and Orthopedic Surgery. The Women’s Pavilion specializes in obstetrics and neonatology and offers labor and delivery suites, cheerful, homelike birthing rooms, newborn nurseries and a NIC unit. Recent additions include a second Intensive Care Unit, 16 new medical/surgical beds and the installation of the most current CT technology to expand the diagnostic tools available to physicians.
