Berkeley Medical Center is a 260-bed facility part of WVU Medicine East, a not-for-profit healthcare delivery system for the eastern Panhandle. Berkeley Medical Center has a 24-hour emergency department (ED) with over 50,000 visits annually and a 40-bed ED with Level III Trauma Center designation. Berkeley Medical Center also has a cardiac cath lab and outstanding, fully-digital radiology services including interventional radiology. Berkeley Medical Center has a 20-bed ICU/CCU, an obstetrics department with 1,000+ per year, a pediatrics unit, wound care center and inpatient/outpatient oncology services with clinical trials.
