- Hospital developing its hospital-based Intensivist program
- candidate will provide/manage critical care patients for the primary care physicians
- candidate will round on patients under the direction of physician
- Prefer Critical Care background, but will consider FP/IM background with acute care experience

Trumbull is certified as a Level III Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center with PCI; Joint Commission Advanced Inpatient Diabetes Care Accreditation and Accredited Sleep Center. In addition, Trumbull provides Adult and Gero Psych behavioral health, a Community cancer center, imaging, intensive care unit, labor and delivery, inpatient dialysis, cardiac (angiography, open heart, CCU, telemetry, cath lab and rehabilitation), cardiopulmonary/respiratory services, nutritional counseling (outpatient diabetes education), occupational/industrial medicine program, orthopedic unit, an outpatient surgery center, pediatrics, rehabilitation (physical, occupational and speech therapy), GI/endoscope lab and a wound care center.
