Teaching Opportunity - Pediatric Emergency teaching Residents
Envision Physician Services is seeking Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians for our newly remodeled 13-Bed wing (separate from adult) at Palms West Children's Hospital located in Loxahatchee, Florida located in the greater West Palm Beach Area.
Pediatric ED Features:
- 54,000 annual patient visits (36,000 Main ED; 18,000 Peds ED).
- Palms West Children's Hospital features a newly remodeled and expanded 13-bed pediatric ED (14 Bed Adult ED)
- Physician Shifts: 6a-6p, 6p-6a with 12 hours of APP coverage 10a-10p
- Resident coverage with 3 surrounding EM residency programs and 1 in-house Pediatric Residency Program
- Admit rate is 10%
- Accredited NICU (24/7 PICU and NICU)
- Offering occurrence based malpractice insurance with tail coverage

Applicants must have successfully completed at least 5 moderate sedation cases in the last 12 months without complication. Qualified candidates must be BC/BP Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians (having completed a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine) with current ACLS and PALS.
