Come work for a great organization making a difference in children’s lives! The Department of Emergency Medicine at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician.
SCHC has a full equipped ED with in-house ICU backup and a full complement of specialties. This position offers excellent benefits, flexible scheduling, and 8-12 hour shifts while working in a Level I Trauma Center that sees approximately 70K annual visits. St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children is a 189-bed quaternary care pediatric hospital with the only dedicated pediatric burn center in the Philadelphia area. The hospital houses more than 220 staff pediatric experts/subspecialists and a competitive Pediatric Residency Program, with multiple subspecialty fellowship programs, including Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Candidates must be board certified or board eligible and have an active Pennsylvania license (or in progress). The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, with a strong interest in teaching. Salary and an academic appointment, at Drexel University College of Medicine with a rank commensurate, will be appropriate to the applicant’s experience and expertise.
