University of Central Florida College of Medicine ACGME Internal Medicine Residency Program in partnership with Osceola Regional Medical Center and the Orlando VAMC is in need of a Director of Transitional Year & Clinic Director of Osceola Care Specialists. The fortunate selected candidate will join this booming IM program and wonderful city. UCF and Osceola RMC have successfully added residencies in OBGYN, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine with Neurology starting 7/2017 and Psychiatry starting 7/2018. We have also started a fellowship in Endocrinology with many others on the horizon. Come be a part of this exciting mission to train residents and service the central Florida communities!!
This 3 year IM residency program is accredited for 60 residents. The candidate who joins our program team will play a major role in the development of our program by participating in the teaching, evaluation and mentorship of our residents along with leader to our clinic with Osceola Regional Medical Center.
The ideal candidate must be board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and should have at least 2 years of experience as a faculty member. Candidates with less than 2 years faculty experience who have extensive teaching experience as either a fellow or chief resident may be considered.
