Research Medical Center is assisting with the search for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Midwest Neurosurgery Associates in Kansas City, MO. The ideal candidate will need to be hard-working and have a passion for all things patient care especially patient satisfaction and patient education.
The incoming APP will be an inpatient practice-based Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant working three-12 hour shifts with a rotating schedule that would include one weekend every three weeks. The APP will provide support for neurosurgery rounding, consults, post operative patient education, facilitate discharges, etc. In this role, the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will have the opportunity to make a big impact in the lives of neurosurgical patients. The candidate will also be joining the neurosciences institute, a service line that continues to expand at RMC and beyond within the HCA division.
Orthopedic or neurosurgery experience is preferred. No OR or surgical experience is required. New graduates are welcome to apply--ICU experience is required. This opportunity provides a very competitive compensation and benefit package.
