Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to become part of our prestigious practice at Northwest Medical Center in Margate, Florida in the Fort Lauderdale area. Qualified candidates must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine through American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM).
Founded in 1984, Northwest Medical Center has evolved into a 215-bed medical center and healthcare complex continuously expanding and bringing on the latest technology that enables them to provide leading edge services to the population they serve. It is also equipped with a pediatric emergency department.
The new $17.5 million dollar Emergency Room expansion features a 54 bed Emergency Room with 9 Pediatrics beds, and sees approximately 55,000 patients per year. This Emergency Department also provides 54 hours of Physician coverage, 32 hours of Advanced Practice Professional coverage, 24 hours of Pediatric coverage and offers SCRIBES!
Margate is located in Broward County, FL, located roughly 15 miles north-west of Fort Lauderdale and only 4 miles from the Atlantic Ocean!
