Southampton Memorial Hospital, established in 1963, is a 221-bed healthcare facility that has recently received $24 million in renovations and new construction including a new ED and OR. All patient rooms at the hospital are private. The facility also recently completed a $2 million patient wing renovation. Services include cardiopulmonary, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, home health/hospice, ICU, emergency services, full service laboratory, imaging services, nuclear medicine, obstetrics, physical rehabilitation and long term care. There are 39 active staff physicians, 59 courtesy physicians and 28 consulting physicians.
