Leadership and participation opportunities include skilled nursing facilities, long-term care, assisted living and independent living settings, consultative inpatient services, and establishing a geriatric assessment center. Further position details include:
  • Established expertise in geriatric psychiatry
  • Up to 7 weeks of PTO annually
  • Division faculty will have responsibilities for resident and medical student education, with the possibility of developing a fellowship in geriatrics
  • Established Center for Clinical Research allows opportunities and resources for developing clinical research programs

Applicants should have a track record of academic achievements supportive of faculty appointment at the rank of Professor or Associate Professor. Applicants must have a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatrics from either the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Board of Internal Medicine.
