Banner University Medical Group is seeking a dynamic Physician Assistant or Acute Care NP to work in our Division/ACS/Burn service on the Banner University Medical Center Tucson (BUMC-T) Campus. BUMC-T is an accredited Level 1 Trauma Center, the only one in Southern Arizona. The qualified candidate helps manage trauma and acute general surgery patients. Position is open to new grads with prior patient care experience &/or EMS experience who are highly motivated to work in a faced-paced, team environment.
Work Schedule: M-F days with four 10 hour shifts/ 40 HRS a week | Night coverage during the week or weekend possible after one year with 10 hour shifts. Possible rotation of weekend day coverage possible depending on available staff. The structure of the work hours may vary within the team.
As an Advance Practice Provider, this position is involved in clinical management of patients, performance of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, education, consultation, and research.
- NPs must be acute care certified
- Current Board Certification
- Will need to acquire a DEA license
- BLS certification
- Prefer TNCC or ATLS certification
