Join the prestigious Cardiovascular team and care for our ICU , cardiac surgery, heart failure and critically ill cardiovascular patients.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about caring for critically ill patients.
The NP we are looking for will be able to complete these procedures:
- Arterial Lines
- Central Access
- Basic airway
This list is not complete, and the right NP will be able to handle a wide array of cases while always thinking of patient care quality. High functioning NP with the ability to work with our quality physicians, residents and other heath care providers. A team approach to care is vital for our patients.
Work Schedule: Full-time. Day shift coverage, night call would be rare.
Patient Volumes: 12-20 average daily- with your team. Residents will be working along side of you!
Essential Functions and Required Qualifications:
- Current Board Certification
- Acute Care Certification
- Experience with Heart Failure, Ventricular Assist Devices, and Transplant Services optimal
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care
- Detail-oriented; dedicated to providing excellent care in challenging situations
- Current Arizona Medical License
- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
- Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance.
