Occupational Medicine Float Opportunity in Metro Phoenix. (Multiple Sites)
Banner Health, one of the Top Five Large Health Systems in the country, is seeking a Residency-trained BC/BE physician in Occupational Medicine or Preventative Medicine
We seek a personable physician with excellent communication skills. We recognize that communicating well with all of our clients, including employees, employers, and third parties, is a critical function in occupational medicine. We strive to create the practice opportunity that allows for you to practice occupational medicine the way it ought to be practiced. Our physicians seek us for a good clinical mix (about 50/50 split of injury care vs. pre-placement, respirator clearance, regulatory, executive, and fit-for-duty exams), and excellent work/life balance. Our clinics are staffed with at least 2 providers at a time, and some nurse practitioner/physician assistant oversight is expected. You will be joining a group of experienced Occupational Medicine providers, and we want you to make us even better! We’re striving to become the premier Occupational Medicine group in the West. Opportunities for on-site work and wellness program offerings exist.
Position will provide per diem coverage to multiple sites in the Phoenix Metro area
The successful candidate will possess:
* Experience or willing to learn Medical Review Officer duties
* Certified or willing to become certified as Commercial Drivers Medical Examiner
* Experience or willingness to learn to do exercise stress testing
