Excellent opportunity for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with Surgical First Assist to join our team of highly trained Trauma Surgeons. We will provide care to a varied group of patients with traumatic injuries, acute care surgical pathologies, and general surgical pathologies. Our ACNP will round on patients in the Trauma room, Surgical Trauma ICU, and hospital floor; see patients in the general surgery and trauma acute care clinic and provide Surgical First Assist in the OR. Qualified candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to work within a team.
- DEA with prescriptive authority required
- ACNP and Surgical First Assist education and credentialing required
- 1-2 years' experience preferred in critical care, trauma or other specialized surgery
- Shifts and Call coverage to be determined by team
