The University of Arizona Cancer Center and Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology Oncology is actively recruiting an outstanding clinician-scientist to lead the Breast Medical Oncology Program. The successful candidate must be board certified in Medical Oncology and have a record of accomplishments in clinical-translational research. This position is an exciting opportunity to lead a strong multi-disciplinary team focusing on the treatment of breast cancer. The successful candidate should have a record of funded accomplishments in clinical-translational research with experience in writing and developing clinical trial protocols. The qualified candidate will receive a faculty appointment consistent with their credentials.
•Clinic 3 days/week (average patient volume 12-15/day)
•Research and Teaching: 2 days/week
University of Arizona Cancer Center (UACC) is a National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated comprehensive cancer center dedicated to the prevention and cure of cancer through patient care, research and education. The Division of Hematology/Oncology within the Department of Medicine is an essential component of the UACC organized to teach students and house staff, excel at clinical and clinical-translational research, and to bring to patients state-of-the-art treatment. The Division has 16-physician faculty and 12 research faculty.
