The University of Arizona Cancer Center and Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology Oncology is actively recruiting a Jr. or Sr. Benign & Malignant Hematologist/Transplant. The successful candidate must be board certified in Hematology, possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a strong desire to work in an academic setting. The qualified candidate will receive a faculty appointment at the University of Arizona that is consistent with their credentials.
•Min/Max number of shifts per month: 6-12 weeks/year
•Average number of patients per day: 16-20
- Subspecialty training in Hematopoetic Stem Cell transplantation
University of Arizona Cancer Center (UACC) is a National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated comprehensive cancer center dedicated to the prevention and cure of cancer through patient care, research and education. The Division of Hematology/Oncology within the Department of Medicine is an essential component of the UACC organized to teach students and house staff, excel at clinical and clinical-translational research, and to bring to patients state-of-the-art treatment. The Division has 22 physician faculty and 6 research faculty.
