The Intensivist will lead a multidisciplinary health care team in the Intensive Care Units using evidence based protocols to provide the highest standard of care to the patients in the community. The Intensivist team will provide 12 hour in-house Critical Care Medicine with the support of intensivist telemedicine coverage in the evenings.
The hospital boasts 171 inpatient beds and state-of-the-art equipment supporting a large subspecialty pool to provide excellent care to the community. Services available include; minimally invasive and robotic surgery, a robust cardiac program offering open heart surgery, TAVR, cardiac catherization and electrophysiology intervention; 24 hour emergency care and much more. Physician can expect a high acuity patient population with dedicated services and support.
Education, Training & Experience Required
- MD or DO
- Must be Board Certified or board eligible in Critical Care Medicine.
- Eligible to work in the United States. Not a J1 visa qualified area.
- Ability to work as a team member
- Must have a commitment to excellence in clinical service, be forward thinking and demonstrate problem solving abilities necessary in this environment
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform all technical skills in the critical care setting
