PM&R physician(s) needed to join a private practice in Kansas City, Missouri. Research Medical Center is assisting in the search for a Medical Director, Pain Management Specialist, and Sports Medicine/Musculoskeletal Medicine PM&R Specialists to be part of the comprehensive, program-based model of care at the Center for Pain, Spine and Sports Medicine.
--For the Medical Director position, we are seeking a Physiatrist with pain or sports medicine fellowship training and strong interest in a physician leadership role. Experience in program development and leadership is helpful but not essential. The clinical role will include interventional pain procedures, and potentially musculoskeletal outpatient evaluation and treatment (including US guided injections) with availability of EMG and regenerative medicine.
--For the Pain Management Specialist position, we are seeking a Physiatrist with pain fellowship training whose primary focus is patient care across the spectrum of pain management, including interventional pain procedures and musculoskeletal outpatient evaluation.
-For the Sports Medicine/Muskuloskeletal Medicine Specialist position, we are seeking a Physiatrist with either sports-medicine fellowship or evidence of strong training and/or experience in sports and muskuloskeletal medicine to provide clinical services and work directly with our therapy staff and athletic trainers in guiding patient care practices. The clinical role includes musculoskeletal outpatient evaluation and treatment (included US guided injections), EMG and, if desired, regenerative medicine. There is an opportunity for participation in role of team physician as well.
This is a single specialty group practice of general PMR providers. We offer opportunities for inpatient, outpatient, long-term care based rehab, EMG, non-spinal injections. We service a Level 1 trauma center in addition to a community based rehab program. This unique opportunity offers growth opportunities, including growth into physician leadership roles within the practice and within the hospitals we serve.
