This is a hospital employed opportunity providing services in a beautiful $38 million dollar facility completed in 2008. A very supportive PCP referral base is in place to welcome the new physician. The position calls for a skilled general surgeon who provides services including but not limited to the following, laparoscopic and open procedures, appendectomy, gallbladder, hernia, colon, gastrointestinal, breast biopsy and can preferably perform endoscopy and colonoscopies. While the position is a solo practice, there is backup by another employed general surgeon at our neighboring hospital Meadowview Regional, just 20 minutes away. Your patients will also receive great inpatient care by our full time hospitalist program. Required hospital call is ten days per month.
