The multidisciplinary team at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Heart Institute is looking to add a pediatric electrophysiologist to its busy team. Candidates should be BE/BC in pediatric cardiology with at least one additional year of fellowship training in pediatric electrophysiology. The successful candidate will be a dynamic pediatric electrophysiologist proficient in device implant and catheter ablation.
The current faculty includes: three surgeons, two interventional cardiologists, two transplant cardiologists, two imaging cardiologists, one electrophysiologist, three adult congenital cardiologists and one inpatient cardiologist. Currently volumes include 90-100 EPS/ablation procedures and 15 device implants in the cath lab. The work load is anticipated to increase in the next few years with establishment of an accredited adult congenital heart program.
This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
