We are looking to add a Board Eligible/Board Certified OBGYN to complement our growing group of excellent physicians and collegial staff. In this position, the candidate will be a Laborist who spends 100% of their time in the hospital to exclusively treat women in labor and respond to Obstetric emergencies. This is a great opportunity for those seeking a quality practice with a very nice life/work balance. The position offers the ability to set their schedule months in advance and the opportunity to obtain an academic appointment through UMASS Medical School – UMASS OBGYN.
The Laborist would be working various 12 hour and/or 24 hour shifts at Saint Vincent Hospital. There will be occasions where the Laborist would not need to be physically within the hospital, but close by. The facility has a 24/7 nurse mid-wife program and is in the process of becoming a Level II B certified nursery.
