Tenet Healthcare’s Abrazo Hospital System in the greater Phoenix area is seeking a Program Director for their new Internal Medicine Residency program at Abrazo Arrowhead.
The Program Director of the Internal Medicine is responsible for the leadership, organization, operation, and the general administration of the Internal Medicine Residency Program sponsored by Abrazo Community Health Network. The Program Director establishes the strategic direction of the program and is responsible for the standards, quality and reputation of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. The Program Director is expected to integrate the Internal Medicine Residency Program with physician practices and hospital clinical services in a manner that enhances value and quality, and that promotes an optimal environment for professional practice and medical education.
- 18 patients per day
- 20-hours per week
- Responsibilities include rounding on patients and teaching Internal Medicine residents
- All work will be conducted inside the facility.
- Options remain if you would also like an outpatient practice in addition to the director responsibilities
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years’ experience as teaching faculty in an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency program, as well as a minimum of three years of administrative experience in graduate medical education. Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and have an AZ medical license active or in process. Please submit your CV for immediate consideration!
