Due to high demand, HCA is building a TelePsychiatry practice to support our Emergency Rooms, Med Surg floors and eventually our Behavioral Health Units. The practice will initially support HCA's facilities in Texas and Florida but will scale to support its entire network.
We are currently seeking qualified psychiatrists for part time positions with the opportunity for full-time employment as the practice grows. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a new, innovative practice within HCA.
Our highest need for coverage in Texas is Friday-Sunday: 7a - 7p, but we will also consider all ranges of availability.
Physicians must be willing to work at minimum a 6 hour shift (prefer 12 hour shifts) on a consistent cadence for at least a year.
Competitive compensation- willing to discuss different compensation models.
-Board certification in Psychiatry and/or Psychiatry subspecialty
-Clear and active license in FL and/ or TX with willingness to obtain additional licenses
-Must be comfortable providing Emergency Room and Med Surg Consults, tech savvy and comfortable with remote tech support and willing to go through additional tele specific training.

As part of its telehealth program, HCA formed HCA Telehealth Provider Network in early 2019 to serve as its internal physician practice that provides telepsychiatry services to its hospitals. This practice will scale to support HCA’s 30,000 annual telepsychiatry consults in its emergency rooms and medical floors.
