Our small multi-specialty group is seeking a full time Physician Assistant. Specialties include; hand and upper extremity, orthopedics, and pain management. Experience optimal, but we are willing to train the right candidate. PA must be a strong team player and communicator, show initiative, and willing to do some short distance travel to satellite clinics. Our practice is located in San Diego

We are looking for a PA-C who will be able to fulfill tasks both in the clinic and the operating room.

A successful candidate will be a supportive partner with the physicians and exercise flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the practice. We are a team-oriented clinic, so the providers work closely with one another.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Independent patient care in clinic (seeing post ops, pre-ops, new patients, established patients, and performing injections and interpreting images).
  • Operating room assist (typically 1- 2 days per month)
  • Monday to Friday schedule, no weekends or Holidays
  • Some travel to satellite clinics
  • No primary ER call
  • No rounding duties

Salary is competitive, along with a full benefit package including Simple IRA, paid time off, CME reimbursement, and medical/dental/vision; also including coverage of malpractice and licenses.
