PRIMARY PURPOSE The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for reviewing invoices, ensuring the integrity of all related documentation and the timely execution of verifying and reconciliation of various vendor statements and ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed. MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS Education: -High School Diploma or GED required. -College accounting courses required. - Associates degree preferred. Experience: -Three (3) years of Accounts Payable Full Cycle experience. -ERP systems for Accounts Payable and AP document workflow experience is required. -High volume invoice entry experience preferred. -Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Equivalent Education and/or Experience: -May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements. Certification/Registration/Licensure: -None. Skills or Special Abilities: -Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills. -Communication skills to include timely and responsive delivery via the proper communication method ¿ email, illustrative report, and/or verbal. -Ability to work well cross functionality and in a team environment. -Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. -Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service using effective verbal and written communication skills. -Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills and research and resolution skills. -Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner. -Reliable and must have strong work ethics. -Must be well organized and manage time effectively. -Must be able to use 10-key by touch.
