Rutherford Regional Health System is seeking an additional BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join two other physicians in a group practice setting. We are looking for a physician who enjoys quality of life, small town living, and will make our community a permanent home. Rutherford Regional Health System is based in Rutherfordton, NC, one of three primary municipalities in Rutherford County along with nearby Forest City and Spindale. Rutherfordton is the county seat of Rutherford County, with a population of approximately 4,200. Established in 1787, Rutherfordton is one of the oldest towns in western North Carolina and is the longest-running continuous government in the region. This Revolutionary War-era town has managed to keep its old-time charm while keeping step with the 21st century, from the cluster of antebellum houses in the historic district at the north end of town to the fiber optic hub on the south end.
