Reliant Medical Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our exciting and innovative organization!

Position: Full time 40 hours per week

Hours: Hours vary, will include two evening shifts per week

No Weekends, No Holidays

Provides and documents the full range of speech/language therapy evaluations and treatments for a variety of diagnoses to an age range of toddler to adult.

Responsibilities

Administer appropriate diagnostic assessments according to diagnosis and patient population.

Design and develop appropriate patient treatment plans including long term goals and short term goals for functional outcomes measured by objective data collection.

Implements and manages therapeutic programs based on department standards. Utilizes knowledge and skills required in delivery of age appropriate care.

Communicates effectively with patient, family, caregivers and appropriate disciplines for collaboration and team approach to patient care. Provides counseling to support patient and family as it relates to disorder and therapy.

Educates patient, family, and caregivers regarding disorder(s) and therapeutic procedure(s). Provides patient educational materials appropriate to patient and family needs. Provides and documents specific training related to patient's disorder.

Documents evaluations, all patient visits, and billing in the electronic medical record. Ensures documentation is timely and meets appropriate guidelines.

Complies with health and safety requirements and with regulatory agencies such as DPH, ASHA, etc.

Complies with established departmental policies, procedures and objectives.

Enhances professional growth and development through educational programs, seminars, etc.

Attends a variety of meetings, conferences and seminars as required or directed.

Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed.

Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is required.

Qualifications

Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university. Clinical Certificate of Competency (CCC) is required. Training and orientation period as needed. Basic knowledge and skills required to provide speech/ language/ swallowing assessment and treatment. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of EPIC beneficial. Valid state license. Knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.
