The St. Francis Heart & Vascular Center is hiring dynamic cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeons to spearhead and grow our cardiovascular and thoracic department in beautiful Topeka, Kansas. With a large referral base and a highly busy practice, the willingness to grow and collaborate is essential for these clinician roles. Clinical Faculty title through the University of Kansas Physicians Group, no teaching or academic activity required in these roles.
- Single Specialty Group
- Onsite Procedure Rooms, Lab, Nuclear Testing, Vascular Ultrasound, Echocardiography, EKG, Coumadin Clinic, Vein Clinic, and Cardiac Rehab available
- TJC Primary Heart Attack Center
- Well-equipped clinic and hospital
- Clinic 2-3 days; Inpatient varies; 4 hours dedicated admin time
- Call Coverage with excess call pay: telephone only, rotating monthly with CTS coverage availability
- APP Support: inpatient, office, and on-call
- Annual Volumes: Diagnostic Heart Cath 900+, Open Heart Surgeries 80+, Thoracic Surgeries 690+, TAVR 50+, Watchman all-new program 13+ first month
- No teaching or academic activity is required in this role
- EMR: Epic
Minimum Qualifications:
- ABS board certification as a Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Surgeon
- Fellowship Trained in Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Surgery
- Experienced Cardiothoracic or Cardiovascular Surgeons willing to grow our CTS practice are encouraged to apply!
