Job Summary:

In a career as a Recruiter / Trainer Foster Family Services, you are part of the commitment to improve a child's life. Often, foster children have been abused or neglected, ​​​and they can no longer live safely at home—at least for a while, and sometimes permanently. The Foster Family Services team provides the guidance and compassion these children need, whether it is creating healthy relationships, finding success at school, or working on their overall well-being. You will help find and train the parents willing to take these children in!

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and screen potential foster parents.
  • Work with Foster Family Services and Marketing Department to develop strategies to implement in recruiting foster families.
  • Handle inquiries from potential foster parents.
  • Track and report on potential foster families.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing training for foster parents.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social or Behavioral Science, related field, or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience.
  • Must be able to provide own transportation (mileage reimbursed) to complete the requirements of the job.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Bilingual skills preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to teach and train adults.
  • Knowledge of and experience with training or recruitment and selection.
