FLORIDA, JACKSONVILLE!!! A healthcare employer in Jacksonville Florida is seeking a Neurologist (Neurohospitalist) who desires to practice inpatient neurology. This position is open due to a retiring physician. The ideal schedule for this physician is to work 7 days on / 7 days off. However, the hospital would be willing to entertain other options if the candidate would like to discuss. This is a very large 418-bed acute care hospital offering a full line of services. The physician will be employed and offered a competitive compensation and benefits package. Two local community-based Neurologists will assist in taking call. This hospital is one of U.S. News and World Report Best Hospitals with a certified stroke center. Jacksonville is a vibrant city, with a population of 1.3 million people, a low cost of living, high quality of life and wonderful climate, this region is one of the few places in the United States that is experiencing a growing population of young professionals.
