Rolla, Missouri 65401 Type of Facility: Hospital
Under the general supervision of the Certified Dietary Manager, Food
Production Manager, Director of Food Service, A.M. and P.M. Supervisors,
the Cook is responsible for reviewing menus and food production sheets,
determining amounts of food to be prepared. Prepares, seasons, cooks
soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foods as assigned for
consumption following standardized recipes and HACCP Guidelines. Cook will
notify the Certified Dietary Manager, Food Production Manager, Director of
Food Service or Supervisors of problems with equipment, food quality, food
shortages, production problems, or service issues as needed and attempt to
correct problems as they occur.
Educational Requirements: Equivalent of four years of high school with
completion of on the job training in principles of food cooking preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
Two years of cooking experience preferred.
