Aspirus Health is seeking a new or experienced Nephrologist to join our health system in central and northcentral Wisconsin. With a solid primary care referral base, you will be able to build a strong and busy practice in a short period of time
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
· Join a growing and supportive team of 3 Nephrologists and 2 APC Providers
· Call rotation 1:3
· Split time between multiple dialysis and Nephrology clinics in Wausau and surrounding areas, as well as Aspirus Wausau Hospital
· There is amazing and reliable collaboration between our dialysis and nephrology teams
· Outreach locations are within an hour of our centralized location in Wausau, Wisconsin
· New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply
· Aspirus Wausau hospital is licensed for 325 beds
SYSTEM and AREA HIGHLIGHTS:
· Aspirus Nephrology is part of the Aspirus Health system of 17 hospitals and 75 clinics throughout Central and Northcentral Wisconsin, and Upper Michigan
· Aspirus Medford Hospital’s Kidney Care Center recently received the 5-Diamond Patient Safety Program award, again, for 2022

Wausau, Wisconsin is located in the lovely Wisconsin River valley at the center of the state. We have a metro area population of 80,000 with excellent schools, busy performing arts center, large private music conservatory, and visual arts center. Quiet residential neighborhoods surround Lake Wausau and overlook the Wisconsin River or have views of Rib Mountain State Park. A normal commute is 10 minutes to any part of town.
