Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner- Rock Hill SC
Fantastic opportunity for experienced Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Vascular Surgery team in Rock Hill SC! Join team of 2 NPPs in a busy practice. Position will include OR first assist, inpatient and outpatient care. Full Time 4 10 hour day shift schedule. Must be able to rotate weekend coverage 1:3 and take 6-7 call nights per month.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of a physician, provides direct patient care including gathering detailed history and performing physical exams. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Surgical First Assist
- Performs or orders tests and interprets results.
- Administers therapeutic procedures as directed.
- Instructs on care and maintains written charts and records on patients.
- Maintains appropriate manual and electronic records (EMR).
Due to the nature of the position, previous post-training surgical experience is required.
Education
Required: Graduate of Accredited PA program
Will consider NP with surgical skills/RNFA
Certifications
Required: PA licensure; BLS; DEA eligible
