Oklahoma's Most Advanced Hospital for Heart Disease is Seeking a Cardiovascular Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider
Be a part of the top Oklahoma Hospital for Cardiology. Oklahoma Heart Institute at Hillcrest Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) for a busy cardiovascular critical care team in a 24-bed CVICU. This position collaborates with physicians and serves as a key team member in a 24-hour service. The APP is expected to work 12-hour shifts in a 7-day-on, 7-day-off schedule with alternating night coverage.
The position will oversee care for patients in the Cardiovascular ICU including CABG/valve surgeries, ECMO, aortic dissections, percutaneous and implantable VADs and a multitude of vascular procedures.
- Perform bedside procedures including central lines, arterial lines, PA catheter placement and others
- Participation in daily multidisciplinary rounds
- Progress notes
- Placing orders in the electronic medical record
- Prescribing medications in accordance with state guidelines
- Manage code blue within the heart hospital
