Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity in Fredericksburg, VA
Envision Physician Services is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time EM Physicians to join our team at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center Stand Alone ER located at 5001 Plank Road. The freestanding emergency room opened in March 2023, and is located near the Town Center in Fredericksburg, VA. Candidates must be BC/BE via the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). ABPS EM boarded candidates are welcome! There are additional opportunities to work at the main campus.
Emergency Department Profile:
- Projecting 8,500 Anticipated ER visits year 1, approximately 23 visits per day
- Fully integrated with Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center
- 24 hours of Physician Coverage. 7 am and 7 pm shift change. We will consistently look at flow and make coverage adjustments/increases as necessary
- 10,000 square feet
- Fully equipped Trauma bay
- Separate adult and pediatric waiting area
- 11 private treatment rooms
- State of the art imaging, including CT, Ultrasound, and Radiology
- Ambulance bay for EMS access
- Patients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists
