Vice Chief Opportunity-Clinical and Admin Duties. Unique academic and private practice blend. No OB and No Peds. Up to 16 weeks off!!
Envision Physician Services is seeking a full time Vice Chief Anesthesiologist to help lead our expanding team at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. Anesthesia team also holds privileges at HCA West Marion Community Hospital. HCA Ocala is a Level II Trauma Center with 323 beds and is located 45 minutes south of Gainesville, just over an hour north of Orlando.
Highlights of the opportunity include:
- Friendly and collaborative Anesthesia Care Team consisting of 20 physicians and 32 CRNAs
- Variety of cases: Cardiac (separate team), Orthopedics, General, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Endo, GYN, Robotics, and Trauma. No Peds and No OB.
- Home call for physicians - CRNAs in house
- Great working relationship with the surgeons
- Separate trauma call coverage - no night or weekends required.
- Academic affiliation with UCF School of Medicine involving 27 rotating anesthesia residents

Responsibilities Include:
- Support the continued development of the department
- Participate in key hospital committees as required by hospital leadership
- Collaborate with leadership from West Marion Community Hospital
- Coordinate staffing and scheduling with Chief MD and GME Program Director
- Recognize talent within the department and delegate for committees
- Ability to communicate effectively with administration
