Outstanding Acute Psychiatry Services Position In Boston
An exciting opportunity exists for Psychiatrists interested in working in an Acute Psychiatry Department embedded in the Emergency Department of the hospital.??
About the position:?
- Part-time and Full-time options
- 26 Beds in the Department
- Brand new Psychiatry Unit
- Rotating and flexible scheduling
- No call
- Call is available if interested in additional compensation
- Several shifts: 8 am-3 pm; 3 pm-10 pm; 8 pm-2 am: 2 am-8 am
- Weekend Shifts available for those with interest: 8 am - 6 pm
- Teaching and research opportunities are also available for those with interest
Qualified applicants may apply for a faculty appointment at HMS in Psychiatry at the rank of Instructor or above
Who we are seeking:?
- Candidates with interest in Acute Psychiatry Service, Consultation-Liaison Service (serving medical inpatients), or the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Massachusetts medical license
- Candidates should be board certified/eligible in Psychiatry
- Board certification or fellowship training in relevant subspecialties will also be considered
