Envision Physician Services is seeking an Associate Medical Director to join our team at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital in Ft Walton Beach, Florida. This is a unique opportunity for someone actively involved in leadership presently or ideal for a practicing clinician looking for a leadership track as well as career progression.
ED Features:
- 67,000 annual patient visits
- 44-bed recently renovated ED with fast track
- Level II Trauma Center
- Flexible scheduling - 11 hour shifts
- Dedicated pediatric ED
- Critical care sub-specialty support
- 1.45 patients per hour
- Excellent support services and nursing staff
- Destin ER affiliated Freestanding ED
- Navarre ER affiliated Freestanding ED
- Occurrence based malpractice insurance with tail coverage
Qualified Candidates:
- Must be clinically active in Emergency Medicine
- Must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) is required
- Previous Chief Resident/leadership/administrative experience preferred, but not mandatory to apply
- Have strong administrative and team building skills
