Pediatric Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Turnersville, New Jersey

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity to join our pediatric emergency medicine team at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital in Turnersville, New Jersey, as a full-time or part-time physician. This top-of-the-line pediatric emergency care center and compassionate team of pediatricians is dedicated to serving the South Jersey community. This experienced care team treats children from infancy to adolescence. This same group of physicians also manages children who need admission to the hospital's pediatric unit for inpatient treatment. Specialists in pediatric cardiology, ophthalmology, interventional radiology and epileptology (seizures) are available for consultation. This pediatric emergency department is part of a 180-bed hospital and non-designated trauma center with 4 pediatric emergency department (ED) beds and a fast track. There is an annual volume of 4,836 pediatric visits per year with medium acuity and a 4% admission rate. A hospital medicine program is in place to provide support. TeamHealth is actively interviewing board certified or board eligible pediatric emergency medicine and pediatricians with emergency medicine experience with an active or pending New Jersey license, DEA, ATLS through American Heart Association, ACLS, and PALS. Experience in an urgent care setting is a plus. TeamHealth is a physician lead and patient-focused practice.
