Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts is seeking Hospitalists and Nocturnists who want a long-term position to join their large, in-house team. Saint Vincent Hospital is a 330 bed community hospital with 125 years of commitment to high quality patient care and to medical education. The hospital sponsors vibrant residencies in Internal Medicine, Radiology and Podiatry as well as fellowships in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Sleep Medicine. Saint Vincent serves as a major affiliated teaching site for the University of Massachusetts Medical School for medical student clinical rotations.
At Saint Vincent, our Hospitalists work closely with our in-house Internal Medicine residents. We also precept NP/PA students from Mass College of Pharmacy and Medical Students from UMASS Medical School. There is the opportunity to get level of assistant or full professorship at UMASS. There are teaching and non-teaching Hospitalist opportunities, and the teaching amount can be flexible. We are seeking BC/BE career Hospitalist for daytime, swing, and night shifts. There is a night differential, as well as additional paid shifts.
The schedule is generally 7:7, twelve hour shifts, but can be flexible if needed. The average number of total patient encounters is 16-18. The ICU is closed, so no procedures or codes are required. The team currently has five NPPs assisting Hospitalists with day and night rounding. Our offer includes a competitive salary, sign-on bonus, relocation allowance, and CME allowance.
