Hospitalist needed starting as soon as credentialed in Kealakekua, HI.
- BC/TBE Internal or Family Medicine
- Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
- 94 Beds
- Open ICU
- 3 Day Providers / 1 Night Provider
- Day Census: 13-18 / Night Census: 75
- Day Admits: 8 / Night Admits: 5
- Hospitalist is responsible for running codes & responding with the RRT
- No APP Coverage
- Procedures Required: central lines, intubations, vent management, paracentesis, thoracentesis, LP, stress tests & arterial lines, must provide 5-10 case logs within the past 24 months per procedure
- Some Specialty Services Available
- Misc: rounding, teaching, admits, participate in MDR, cross cover with residents
- EMR: Cerner
- Must have some critical care experience
- Must have active HI license, DEA/CSR
- ACLS/BLS Required
- Prefers Candidates in HI, CA, or on West Coast
- Credentialing: Up to 6 months, temps privileges are available
