Job Summary:

Parkridge Health System in Chattanooga, Tennessee is seeking a board certified / board eligible infectious disease physician for our two acute care hospitals starting in December 2024. 

Qualified Candidates:
  • Board certified or board eligible in infectious disease medicine
  • Active Tennessee license or the ability to obtain one
Details: 
  • Medical Directorship option 
  • Hospital consults/inpatient only practice for two of our hospitals
  • Average daily census 20-22 patients with 4-5 new patients daily and 4-5 average length of stay
  • Option for employment or solo private practice

  • 275-bed licensed hospital at Parkridge Medical Center
  • 128-bed hospital at Parkridge East Hospital
  • Primary stroke centers and advanced cardiovascular center

  • Advanced surgical services including endovascular care and orthopedic/spine procedures

Nestled in the heart of the Southeast, Chattanooga is within a day’s drive to almost one-third of the major U.S. market and the densely populated cities of Atlanta, Nashville, Knoxville and Birmingham (within 140 mile radius).  The city approximates 169,000 population; MSA of 426,000 residents situated in the Great Tennessee Valley.
