Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity in San Antonio, TX
Envision Physician Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our collegial team, as an independent contractor, at Methodist ER City Base Freestanding ED in San Antonio, Texas. Requirements: Must be board certified or board eligible BC/BE in emergency medicine and EM residency trained.
Position Profile:
- 15-18 patients per day
- 7 exam rooms
- 24 hours of physician coverage
- Shifts: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- 12 hours of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage
- Meditech EMR
- Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency trained
- 1099 position - up to 120 hours available
Candidates must demonstrate:
- Strong communication skills
- Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
