EM Physician opportunity in Rushville, IL

NES Health seeks a Emergency Medicine Physician to join our practice at Sarah D. Culbertson Memorial Hospital located in Rushville, Illinois. 

About the Hospital 

• 22 Bed Community Hospital 

• ePowerDoc EMR (transitioning to Cerner in late 2023)  

Coverage includes:? 

• CT in hospital? 

• MRI available?? 

• Stroke Center? 

• Radiology and Teleradiology at night? 

• Interventional Radiology?? 

• General Surgery (OP procedures only)? 

• Ortho is OP only? 

• Podiatry?? 

• Gastro? 

• Neurology? 

• Hospitalist? 

• Cardiology? 

About the Program and Hours 

• 5 Bed Emergency Department 

• 4,800 Annual Visit ED 

• 5% admission rate from the ED 

• During the weekday days, there are HM APPs who cover the floor. 

• During the weekday nights, ED providers write bridge orders 

• During the weekends, the ED providers admit patients (average of 3-4 for the weekend) 

• 12- or 24-hour shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a or 7a-7a) 

Qualifications 

• Active Illinois license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license 

• Candidate Must be BE/BC in EM, IM, or FM 

• Active ACLS, ATLS, and/or PALS
