Locums NeuroHospitalist Neurology Physician
Seeking a skilled and highly motivated Locums Neurology Hospitalist Neurology Physician to join this esteemed academic organization in Boston on a locum tenens basis. As a Locums NeuroHospitalist. This position offers flexible scheduling options, allowing you to choose between Monday through Friday, 5 on/5off or 7 on/7 off rotations. Additionally, we can offer flexible PRN scheduling to accommodate your needs.
Must be local to the Boston area.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Care: Provide expert medical care to patients with neurological conditions in the inpatient setting. Diagnose and manage complex neurological cases, offering evidence-based treatment plans and following up on patient progress.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other specialties, including neurosurgery, radiology, neurocritical care, and neurorehabilitation, to deliver comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, streamline processes, and optimize outcomes for neurological patients.
Compensation: $250.00 per hour
Qualifications:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or
Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification in
Neurology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or
equivalent.
- Massachusetts Licensed Required
- Proven experience as a
NeuroHospitalist, preferably in an academic medical center or major
teaching hospital.
- Exceptional clinical
skills and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Demonstrated ability to
teach and mentor medical students and residents effectively.
- Track record of
contributions to neurological research, publications, or grants is highly
desirable.
- Strong communication,
teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible scheduling
options, including Monday through Friday or 7 on 7 off rotations.
- Ability to opt for flexible PRN scheduling to accommodate personal preferences.
